WhatsApp QR Code Generator
Make a WhatsApp QR code that starts a chat with your business number, optionally with an opening message.
Start a WhatsApp chat with your business in one scan.
Include the country code. WhatsApp requires it.
Pre-filled in the app; the sender still taps send.
Fill in the form and your QR code appears here.
Vector SVG for print, PNG for screens. This code never expires and has no scan limit.
Nothing is uploaded. The code is built by JavaScript running on your device — your links, passwords and contact details never reach our servers.
About whatsapp QR codes
A WhatsApp QR code opens a chat with your business number, optionally with the first message already written. It removes the two steps that lose people: finding your number and working out what to say.
The code encodes a wa.me link, WhatsApp's own click-to-chat format. It works whether or not the person has your number saved, and it opens the app directly rather than going through a browser search.
Include the country code without a plus sign or spaces — wa.me requires the full international number. A pre-filled message like 'Hi, I'd like to book a table' measurably increases the number of people who actually send it.
How to create one
- Enter your number with the country code. For example +90 for Türkiye, +44 for the UK. Spaces and dashes are cleaned up automatically.
- Write the opening message. Optional, but it lifts response rates. Keep it short — the sender still taps send.
- Style the code. Open the Design tab to set colours, module shapes and an optional centre logo.
- Download. SVG for print, PNG or WebP for screens. Test the result with a real phone before you print a run.
Where people use these
Shop counters
Let customers start an order or ask about stock without queueing.
Service vehicles and signage
A code on the van gets you enquiries from people who would never call.
Restaurant reservations
A pre-filled booking message on the door captures walk-ups when you are full.
Support material
Print it on packaging so buyers reach you instead of leaving a one-star review.
Frequently asked questions
- Is this the same as WhatsApp's own QR code?
- No. WhatsApp's in-app code is tied to your account and rotates. This one encodes a wa.me link, so it is stable, printable, and can carry a pre-filled message.
- Does the message send automatically?
- No. WhatsApp opens with the text ready in the input box and the person taps send. That is a WhatsApp restriction, and a sensible one.
- Does it work with WhatsApp Business?
- Yes. Any number registered with WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business works the same way.
- Is it free, and does the code expire?
- Free, with no account and no watermark. The code is static, so the content lives in the pattern itself — there is no redirect to switch off and no scan limit to hit.
- Is my data sent to your servers?
- No. The code is built by JavaScript in your browser. Nothing you type is transmitted, which you can verify in your browser's network tab.
